Island Gold from Sev7n comes from Bodhi Seeds and was created by crossing a 90s era Triangle Kush with a dank 88 G13 Hashplant.
From what was shared by Sev7n, this strain seems to have a citrusy pine aroma with hints of roasted coffee combined with a flavour described as a mix of sweet and spicy citrus. The buds are reportedly dense, bright green and covered in a thick layer of frosty trichomes. It will be interesting to see how this compares to other products from this brand like Sev7n’s Island Cherry.

Smell
The product arrived in the same medium-sized matte green plastic bag with resealable opening as previous strains. Island Gold (Kawehnò:ke Kahwistanó:ron) is described as having a citrusy pine smell but after opening the pouch we could only detect a moderate herbal aroma. Unfortunately it was both weaker and blander then expected based off the strain description.
Appearance
This flower certainly was in better condition then Sev7n’s Island Sugar. The buds were small to medium in size, dense and a little dry since no humidity shield was included in the bag. They were also a bit leafy, but the bright green coloration combined with the orange curly hairs and snowy trichome layer results in this product looking better then it smells.
Flavour
Even though the flavour was stronger then the smell, it was still weaker and blander then expected. We found that on exhale there was a distinct sweet herbal note however it disappeared quickly and was replaced with a weaker earthy herbal taste.
Experience
Listed with 22.8% THC content and a price tag of $29.95 for 3.5 grams, we found Sev7n’s Island Gold produced a good high while not being overly intense. It delivered a moderate mental fog that was amplified further by an equally strong and relaxing body buzz with a tingly sensation around the eyes. Overall a decent product from Sev7n but not our favourite strain from this brand.
