Pineapple Paradise from Spinach is a stavia-dominant strain that was created by crossing Pre-98 Bubba Kush with Sour Diesel.
This combination created a sweet pineapple aroma with a flavour profile similar to tropical fruit. Pineapple Paradise has a terpene profile that includes myrcene, limonene and the rare beta-Ocimene. In terms of appearance, Spinach reports describes the buds as being dense, thick, light green and sparkling with a thick layer of trichomes. We’ve reviewed a lot of Spinach products, some we enjoyed like their GMO Cookies and Sensi Star strain but at the same time we felt their Blueberry strain was just average. So how does Pineapple Paradise compare?

Smell
The product arrived in Spinach’s typical white plastic container with re-sealable lid. Listed at 20% THC we were hopeful this one would deliver a nice experience, so we cracked off the top, inhaled deeply and were met with a moderately strong aroma of sweet acidic pineapple. A few of us felt the aroma was stronger than others, but everyone agreed on the distinct smell of pineapple.
Appearance
As per usual Spinach did not include a moisture shield inside the container which is unfortunate because we feel many of their products would be improved with this simple addition. However as this was not included, the buds were unfortunately bone dry (almost crispy). They were also super dense, bright green and were covered in neon orange hairs throughout. Plus, you’ll notice some of the leaves have a vibrant green appearance but most of this is secondary to the thick layer of trichomes covering the entire bud.
Flavour
Pineapple Paradise certainly does carry the delicious aroma into the flavour, but we did find it to be quick, mild and disappeared quicker then expected. Hard to know for sure, but some of the flavour could possibly be saved by including a moisture shield. Although it was not as strong as we’d like, there was definitely a sweet pineapple flavour that was most evident on the first inhale.
Experience
Pineapple Paradise from Spinach is a great example of a sativa delivering exactly what you expect. Listed at 20% THC with a price of $31.95 for 3.5 grams, this flower created a very energetic buzz with a mentally clear focus and almost no body high; think of it like a clean caffeine rush. Given the reasonable price and uplifting high we recommend trying this one. However it would be nice to see Spinach start including moisture packs in their containers.
